Southwest Center requested the assistance of Speks Creative to brand their massive renovation of a 50,000 square-foot facility in central Phoenix. Our solution was a play on their current logo, incorporating the icon into the hard hat and tying the blueprint theme throughout the logo. This logo was to symbolize and celebrate the work that is to be done to create Arizona's largest medical home for HIV/AIDS comprehensive support, featuring a one-stop location with healthcare, clinical trial research, education, and chronic disease wellness programs.

We wanted to take this theme and generalize their icon to represent that type of development that doesn't necessarily cater to one type of industry. So we developed a cog icon for them representing their ability to work from any direction. Offsetting the center of the cog made it a bit more playful and use of modern typography was a must for such a modern business.
A Colorado-based electric company, Alpine Electric wanted to develop a logo that encompassed their love for the mountain forests as well as incorporate a bit of their eclectic flavor.
