Mikel Privert
Mikel Privert, Co-founder / President
Since co-founding Spēks Creative in 2008, Mikel has been the firm's president and chief promoter. Under his leadership, Spēks Creative has become one of the fastest growing providers of graphic design, web design, and all print-related services. Along with co-founder Phillip McKeage, their vision of creating a one-stop stop for all things marketing is Mikel's passion and what he lives and breathes every day.

As a finance graduate from the University of Arizona, Mikel began his initial career as an analyst for the C.I.A.. Exploring the business world became his next adventure as he joined a national e-learning company in early 2001. Then his entrepreneurial spirit was calling when he connected with a local marketing firm. During his tenure, he helped grow the firm from three to over a dozen employees and grew their sales by over 200%. Upon meeting his future co-partner Phillip, they knew they could strike out on their own to create something never before seen in the industry, Spēks Creative. Mikel has since become a trusted, knowledgeable source in the advertising & marketing field with over eight years of experience in the industry. He is also an active member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization and alumni of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity.

Phillip McKeage
Phillip McKeage, Co-founder / Creative Director
Early on, Phillip has always had a creative drive. He attended Missouri State University where he graduated with a BS in Graphic Arts & Design in 2006. He then moved to Arizona and started work at a marketing firm in Tempe where he moved from Junior Designer to Creative Director of the firm, all in a year's time. Always having the desire to start his own firm, Phillip joined forces with his now business partner, Mikel Privert, and together they founded Spēks Creative.

Phillip is a problem solver first. In his creative process, his first focus is how to best communicate the solution to the problem rather than diving in blindfolded by simply just trying to make it look appealing. The goal in his work is communication, and design without that voice is purposeless.

He's a busy guy, but has found time to work personal projects that have been shown in various galleries in Arizona and was also involved in a show in France. He has also been invited to contribute his creative talents in various charity shows recently such as "All Hands On Deck", where proceeds autism research, and "Milk Munny", where funds were raised for breast cancer research.
